Subscription & Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to paid subscriptions and one-time purchases for Maximiser.ai plans processed through our authorised payment partners (including PayPal, Razorpay, and similar gateways configured in our Pricing Plan Manager).

Free tiers and Max Coins earned through in-app tasks are governed by the Terms of Use and Max Coins FAQ unless stated otherwise here.


2. Subscriptions

  • Paid plans renew automatically according to the billing cycle shown at checkout (typically monthly unless stated otherwise).
  • You may cancel renewal through the payment provider’s subscription management portal or by contacting contact@maximiser.ai before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically delete your account. Downgrade or account deletion is handled separately in the app or via support.

3. Refunds

Unless required by applicable law:

  • Digital services: Fees for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, because the service is delivered immediately.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges: Contact us within 14 days with transaction details; we will work with the payment provider to correct verified errors.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction (e.g. cooling-off periods where applicable).

Refund decisions are made in good faith. Approved refunds are processed back through the original payment method via the payment partner; timing depends on the provider (often 5–10 business days).


4. Taxes

Taxes, VAT, or GST shown at checkout are assessed according to your billing jurisdiction and our tax configuration. Tax collection and remittance for card charges are handled by the payment portal where that portal is the merchant of record or tax collector. Maximiser.ai stores billing jurisdiction on your profile for invoicing and compliance records.


5. Plan changes & Max Coins

  • Upgrades may be charged on a pro-rata or full-period basis as shown at checkout.
  • Max Coins applied as discounts are governed by the commercial policy active at purchase; coins are not convertible to cash except where the Earner Program explicitly allows payout.

6. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without contacting support first may result in suspension of paid features while the dispute is resolved.
